Combo Au Go Go! I played with The Combo Au Go Go from the summer of 1998 until the spring of 2001. Check out the awesome credits on these guys. Here's an attempt at a press release that I cooked up while playing with the boys:

FROM THE FILE ON COMBO AU GO GO:

These well mannered gentlemen generally arrive with a minimum of fanfare, feel the vibe of the room, and tastefully determine what musical elements are required to set the mood for a great party. All types of music are an option at any time; be it jazz standards, blues, Latin grooves, sensuous old school R & B, or funk. These guys can help you relax with some quiet acoustic jazz standards, rock your world with insane Latin grooves, or anything in between. One thing is certain; you WILL be dancing.

What started as a "just for fun" regular Sunday night gig for a rotating group of local sidemen at the neighborhood watering hole "Liquid Kitty", has evolved over the last two years into a hard hitting instrumental acid jazz funk blues martini swigging cocktail lounge tiki twist extravaganza. With hundreds of recording sessions, thousands of gigs, and countless national and international tours under their collective belts, it's only natural that this band of seasoned pros soon found themselves in great demand.

The Combo consists of various members on any given night and can range from a trio to an orchestra. You'll usually find:
